We have submitted a draft proposal to the town administrator's office for review. The plan is to get their feedback on the proposal before submitting it to the full board of selectmen for consideration. I've uploaded a PDF version of the proposal to our website here. Please feel free to submit any comments on the proposal by email or through our website.

We've been advised that it might not be a good idea to start major, public fundraising before we've been given the go-ahead on the project. I think this is reasonable, so I've decided not to pursue the idea of donation boxes around town just yet. Thanks to those of you who volunteered to help -- believe me, you'll get your chance eventually!
