Hi!

I have great news! MayDOG has received its official determination letter from the IRS, and we are now a designated 501(c)(3) organization. This means two things:

1. If you have donated any money, including membership dues and gifts in kind, your donation is retroactively tax deductible (back to September 2008). We will be sending out official receipt letters to each contributor, both in the past and going forward.

2. We now have the ability to tap bigger sources of funding, such as grants. This puts us in a great position for fundraising for the dog park!
