UPDATE ON DOG PARK DISCUSSIONS WITH TOWN
Town officials are still working on the solar farm proposal and are not willing to revisit our proposal until they know better what is going to happen with the solar farm. Apparently, the vendor is suggesting things like re-grading and making other changes to the site to accomodate the solar panels. It sounds like it will be another 3 months before anything is known for sure.

In the meantime, we've scheduled a visit to the landfill site on Sunday, July 12, at 7pm as part of the MayDOG walking group's 7th walk. If you're interested in joining us, please RSVP on the meetup page (registration required).

OTHER NOTES
One of our members has come up with the brilliant idea of donating pet oxygen masks to the Maynard Fire Department, and the masks are on order. MayDOG will be publicizing the donation with a photo op/publicity event this summer. More details to come!

We're interested in having a "doggie pool party" fundraiser this summer. Does anyone on this list have a swimming pool in a fenced area that they'd be willing to let us use? Please let us know.
