This Sunday, August 9, at 7pm: Join us for MayDOG Walk #9 - meet at the Rockland Ave field. Visit www.meetup.com/MayDOG for details and to RSVP (free registration required). $5 donation requested for non-members.

Next Sunday, August 16th, from 7:30-11am, the American Legion on Summer Street in Maynard will host a fundraiser breakfast. All proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to Canines for Combat Vets, a non-profit organization that trains service dogs to assist combat wounded veterans. Breakfast is $5.00 for the Legion Breakfast, and $6.00 for the Hungry Man. Juice and coffee are included. Childrens' plates are half price. Diners can get $1.00 off of breakfast if they bring a toy or treat to send to service K-9s currently stationed overseas.

Thursday, September 17: MayDOG Annual Meeting (mark your calendars and please plan to attend!) We will give the annual report and elect board members and officers. If anyone is interested in joining the board, please let me know.
