MayDOG is happy to announce the TWO winners of the annual Dog-Friendly Business Award for 2014. Voting ended in a tie this year between Look Optical and Morey's Tavern, both on Main Street in downtown Maynard.
Look Optical provides an outdoor water bowl for passing dogs, and Alex always welcomes dogs into the shop (and your pup can try on some sunglasses, too!). Morey's Tavern loves having dogs in the bar, and always has a fresh bowl of water, plenty of love, and occasionally a few treats! Representatives from MayDOG will be presenting these two businesses with their awards soon.
Runners-up in the voting were Gallery Seven, Jimmy's Garage, Middlesex Savings, Bank, Terry's Barber Shop, and Video Signals. MayDOG is very pleased to recognize so many dog-friendly businesses in our community.
